Siemens Guanajuato will supply transformers for the CPV Sentinel Energy project

Mexico Siemens Transformers recently got a project by 10 units for the company Gemma Power Systems for a total of 1093 MVA to be installed in Hot Springs, California, for the project CPV Sentinel Energy which will supply a constant and reliable energy to facilitate the growth of intermittent energy sources like wind and solar which are abundant in this region of Southern California.

In addition to this project Siemens Transformers Mexico has supplied equipment for projects in Pakistan, Venezuela, Guatemala, Dominican Republic,

Bolivia

, and others.

The project of 800MW will start commercial operations during 2013.

So this project will also provide the Coachella Valley and the Los Angeles Basin.
